Results calculator: expressions, undo, and order of operations
Do calculations with the round numbers and understand why the option for operation priority can change the result.
The calculator uses numbers from the rounds to build expressions without manual transcription. Log in to the account, open the results gear, and activate Calculator. The panel appears above the grid.
Build and review an expression
Click on a result and choose the available operation to add it. Repeat the procedure until you form the desired expression. Check each number and operator before interpreting the total.
If you add an incorrect entry, use Undo to remove the last operation. To restart the work, clear the expression. The calculation belongs to the platform and game context used by the tool; it is not an account statement.
Understand mathematical priority
The option to respect the order of operations changes how the expression is evaluated. In the calculation 2 + 3 × 4, mathematical priority results in 14. In sequential evaluation, from left to right, you first get 5 and then 20.
When comparing a result with a spreadsheet, confirm which mode was active. A difference in total may arise from the evaluation method, even when the numbers and operators are the same. Avoid dividing by zero or drawing conclusions from a non-finite result.
Add an integer range
In the lab, select a section and use the action to add it to the calculator. Valid numerical values enter as sums in the existing expression. The action does not automatically clear previous operations. To calculate only the new section, clear first and then send the selection.
For example, a range with 0, 3, and 7 adds these three numbers, including zero. The sum serves to describe the selected values. It does not represent financial return, personal balance, or multiplication of bet values. To review the complete path, open the calculator guide.
